A collection of 11 garments completely designed, patterned, and constructed by me! Created using 100% secondhand textiles and hardware, sourced locally--using supplementary vintage and antique textiles from Japan. This collection was designed with creative reuse and human resilience in mind. Each garment is thoughtfully crafted to wrap the wearer in soft armor, hand dyed with Indigo and Black Walnut, these garments have a direct connection with the earth. I strive to show the world that fashion can be a direct form of protest against the rampant consumerism and unsustainable practices that are so characteristic of the fashion industry. We need only to slow down, create with intention, and actively choose to work with pre-existing materials.
